Are you a Christian leader who senses something is missing in today’s church? Do you long for the vibrant, unified body of Christ described in Revelation 7:9—a community where every nation, tribe, people, and language worship together as one?

In Christ over Culture, Dan Crain shares his vulnerable, 20-year journey of being lovingly confronted by people of color about his cultural blind spots. Guided by their wisdom and the Holy Spirit, he discovered the joy and freedom of living into God’s vision for a reconciled, diverse church.

This transformative book will help you understand the depth of the divides within the church, break free from the grip of majority-culture Christianity, pursue justice and reconciliation for the marginalized, and experience the profound joy of unity in Christ. It’s a call to courageous self-examination, humble listening, and bold obedience to the Spirit’s leading into God’s “New Humanity.”

Don’t settle for a homogeneous, culturally captive Christianity. Step into the richness of God’s kingdom vision—marked by unity, justice, diversity, and joy. Add Christ over Culture to your cart today and begin your transformative journey.

The first thing I want to say is that this book is different from every other book I have read about racial reconciliation. For one thing, it starts with a story from the Bible. It continues to show the history of white culture. I knew some of this but reading it chapter by chapter helped me to see how I have been affected by Christianity but also by my culture. This is an easy read and you will be encouraged to share it with others. Shout out to Dan writing something that even a old southern woman from Birmingham, Alabama could read and be moved to change!!

Christ over Culture has been a long time coming, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here. Dan shares his own journey with such humility, challenging and encouraging us to let the Holy Spirit reveal our cultural influences and blind spots so we can more freely live out the ministry of reconciliation. I feel lucky to have been part of the journey, and I can’t wait to pass this book along to others who are pursuing unity and restoration.
